Bespoke services are for the discerning client who wants to own one-of-a-kind pieces of wearable art.

In bespoke, garments are custom-made, tailored specifically to the wearer's measurements and designed for their body’s intricacies. While most bespoke work is geared for event-wear, garment styles can range anywhere from lined or unlined work and business clothing, day and evening dresses, loungewear, corsetry, outerwear, and tailoring but all categories guarantee a keen attention to garment construction details and materials of the highest quality, sourced from the finest mills.

At times, a customer may be interested in original hand-dyed, painted, printed, or embellished fabrics which I am happy to develop in-house. I also work with production partners in digital textile printing, knitting, crochet, weaving, and dyeing for projects that require a large amount of yardage or specific techniques.

Bespoke projects normally take 2+ weeks to complete, as they require a number of fitting appointments and material sourcing. Express services (1 week or less) may or may not be possible depending on the project stipulations, material availability, client availability for rush fittings, and the current work load.

Please be aware that for projects to be completed by specific dates, the client should expect to attend closely-scheduled fitting appointments.

High dressmaking is luxury fashion that involves time-consuming hand-sewing techniques throughout the entire production process. Seams in sequined fabrics are made invisible by carefully sewing them by hand, for example:

Another thing that separates high dressmaking from ready-to-wear is an investment in linings of the best quality for comfort and style. Shaped and color-matched facings with hand-embroidered labels are a signature of my studio, highlighting a deep love for garment making and design, especially on the inside.

Pricing (USD)

$150 Consultation, Design Fee, and Material Sourcing

This covers meeting to talk about your project, taking measurements, and creating a professional client portfolio of material samples as well as sketches for design ideas. This can take place over one or multiple meetings.

$200 Sample Fittings

This covers the process of creating custom garment patterns for your project using your measurements as well as creating a sample garment out of cotton muslin to ensure a perfect fit before cutting the final fabric. Samples may be fit once or multiple times.

$Variable Deposit

This covers the cost of materials for your project as well as some initial production costs. Materials go beyond the fabrics that are normally visible on the garment, as they can include specialty thread, interfacings, and linings that make up the inner construction of lined and structured garments. Custom dyed, painted, or embellished materials will normally be more expensive than fabrics from a catalog as they include the production service as well as the necessary design process. The variable deposit is required ahead of producing your final garment.

$Variable Final Price

This is the final charge that covers your project’s construction and completion. Keep in mind that bespoke design is an investment. The service includes any fitting alteration and repair you may require in the future, ensuring the longevity of your special garment. Larger alterations, like changes to design (such as a neckline or hem style) are not included in this.

$250 Express Add-On

This is an extra cost if the project has an express deadline of 1 week or less. It covers express labor as well as expedited shipping of materials that may be necessary for the project.
