Luis Rivas Gómez

I am a fashion illustrator and designer based in San Diego, California, working across garment and surface design. My practice is informed by a background in pattern design, hand-dyeing techniques, and bespoke tailoring, which shapes a material-focused approach to representation.

Alongside my studio practice, I work as an educator in fashion illustration and digital design. My approach to teaching is shaped by in-depth research and continuous involvement with the industry, allowing me to bring up-to-date insights, tools, and real-world context into the classroom.
